Conditions of all Bookings:
Please note, upon cancellation or amendment to your booking or  early curtailment of your stay, whilst you are with us, we kindly request 48 hours notice. Please telephone at your earliest convenience (+44) 0191 281 33 63.

Cancellations

Please note you will be charged for your accommodation in full, at the rate agreed at the time of booking, should you fail to cancel your reservation 48 hours prior to your arrival or early curtailment of your stay, whilst with us without a minimum of 48 hours notice:

• Individual guest 48 hours prior to arrival/early curtailment 
• Between 2-4 guests 72 hours prior to arrival/early curtailment
• Group bookings 5-10 guests 14 days prior to arrival/early curtailment
• Group bookings 10+ guests 21 days prior to arrival/early curtailment
• The Great North Run Weekend cancellations is 14 days prior to arrival.

Such charges will be deducted from your credit card (inclusive of credit or debit card charges) or a deposit

Cancellations must be by email, fax or by letter and confirmed with an accompanying telephone call, so then a cancellation CODE can be issued.

Please note if a reservation is made via a booking agency. You will need to confirm your amendment or cancellation in writing with them also. Otherwise it will invalidate your request. All terms of business of the Rosebery Hotel are wholly applicable for every reservation booked through a booking agency.

Check In/Out

CHECK IN – 3pm – earlier by prior arrangement

CHECK OUT – 11am – later by prior arrangement

LATE ARRIVALS - Please contact us for arrangement. A late arrival is classed as after 7pm. Early arrivals are before 3pm, all payment will be deducted for early and late arrivals.

LEFT LUGGAGE - Guests can of course leave their luggage upon prior arrangement. Please note that luggage is left at the owner’s risk. The hotel accepts no responsibility or liability for items lost, broken or stolen.

Payment

Please note payment is upon arrival – Credit/Debit cards are required for all reservations and bookings with an accompanying billing address and security code. As a norm no deposit is required, however, for groups a discretionary deposit maybe taken. 

The person making the reservation is legally responsible for the whole booking, be it an individual or a group.

Please note the Rosebery Hotel has the right to terminate your stay, without notice due to any behaviour deemed inappropriate. Payment is non returnable. A discretionary bond/deposit maybe taken upon arrival. This is not returned upon the day of departure, but will be re credited 48 hours, after departure after satisfactory inspection of the room/rooms.

All prices are inclusive of VAT and full cooked English breakfast

Credit Cards accepted - Switch, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro – Apologies we are currently unable to accept Solo or American Express. Unfortunately, we are also unable to accept personal cheques.

Please note there is an additional 2.5% charge for credit and debit cards and a £0.50 fee for the facility. Please note, it is the banks that charge for this service, not the hotel.
