From £25 per person per night, based on 2 sharing. Inclusive of VAT and full cooked English Breakfast

Terms of business

Deposits for Group Bookings

  • A discretionary deposit of 50% maybe required for group bookings. Deposit will not be required for individual bookings.
  • Deposits must be paid to the Rosebery Hotel within 7 days of initial booking to guarantee the reservation.
  • 7 days notice is required to enable deposits to be refunded for group bookings. 10% of the deposit may be withheld to cover administration costs for large group bookings (10 guests or more)

Payment

Please note payment is upon arrival – Credit/Debit cards are required for all reservations and bookings with an accompanying billing address and security code. No deposit is required. The person making the reservation is legally responsible for the booking. For late or early arrivals; cards will be debited for the full amount of the duration of the stay, inclusive of any credit card charges.

Please note the Rosebery Hotel has the right to terminate your stay, without notice due to any behaviour deemed inappropriate. Payment is non returnable. A discretionary bond/deposit maybe taken upon arrival. This is not returned upon the day of departure, but will be re credited 48 hours, after departure after satisfactory inspection of the room/rooms.

Please also note any damage/and or nuisance/and or disturbance you cause to hotel staff or other guests or if any hotel property is damaged or the hotel building or the hotels grounds damaged. Any costs incurred by the hotel to repair will also be deducted from deposits/bonds/debit/credit cards, plus card charges. These costs are also non refundable.

Cancellations

Please note you will be charged for your accommodation in full, at the rate agreed at the time of booking, should you fail to cancel your reservation prior to arrival or curtail your stay without 48 hours notice;:

  •  
    • Individual guest 48 hours prior to arrival/early curtailment 
    • Between 2-4 guests 72 hours prior to arrival/early curtailment
    • Group bookings 5-10 guests 14 days prior to arrival/early curtailment
    • Group bookings 10+ guests 21 days prior to arrival/early curtailment
    • The Great North Run Weekend cancellations is 14 days prior to arrival.

 

  • Such charges will be deducted from your credit card (inclusive of credit or debit card charges) or a deposit

    Please note if a reservation is made via a booking agency. You will need to confirm your amendment or cancellation in writing with them also. Otherwise it will invalidate your request. All terms of business of the Rosebery Hotel are wholly applicable for every reservation booked through a booking agency.

  • Please also note that any company pre paid bookings that are cancelled or curtailed. We unfortunatley are unable to offer a refund. 

Cancellations must be by email, fax or by letter and confirmed with an accompanying telephone call, so then a cancellation CODE can be issued. Please note if a reservation is made via a booking agency. You will need to confirm your ammendment or cancellation in writing with them also. Otherwise it will invalidte your request

Group Bookings

For groups, we may request two or more credit card details from the members of the group. The following terms and conditions are governed by English law, and are subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts. By booking with the hotel , you agree to be bound by these terms. It must be understood that those booking by telephone you accept the booking terms and conditions. All participants must be at least 18. The person making the booking will be considered the group leader: The group leader has the authority to deal with us on behalf of every member of the group. The group leader is responsible for collecting all monies from the group, and must accept final responsibility for the actions of all other group members and make them aware of all terms and conditions.

A bond may be taken from each group member upon arrival at the hotel, which will be returned at the hotel's discretion once it is satisfied that no damage or inconvenience has been caused by the group. Every person in the party will be held jointly and severally liable for any damage to property and for any legal cost incurred in defending or pursuing such a claim.

The hotel will not be liable for any loss or damage to the property of clients. In the case of any loss of or damage to property, this must be reported first to the duty manager, and then to the police, immediately. Any on-site conditions, instructions or house rules must be adhered to: The Rosebery Hotel has the right to terminate without notice your stay due to any behaviour deemed inappropriate by them. In this case, you will not be entitled to any refund. The hotel accepts no liability for any misadventure that occurs while any of your group is under the influence of drink or drugs. We will not be liable to you or any other person for losses which are reasonably foreseeable and any other losses other than those caused by our negligence. This is the sole agreement between you and the Rosebery Hotel and cannot be varied apart from agreement of both parties.

We kindly ask all guests who have 4 or more in their party, to confirm final numbers 48 hours or more prior to arrival, we thank you in advance for this. If a bond/deposit is taken upon arrival, it is not returned on day of departure, but will be re credited 24 hours later, after satisfactory inspection of the rooms.

The hotel reserves the right to refuse any guest admission on the grounds of un-reasonable, abusive or threatening behaviour. If one member of a booking or group is deemed to be behaving in an un-reasonable manner, then the hotel reserves the right to ask the whole party/guests to leave. Payment is non refundable.
Accommodation Check-in/Check-out

CHECK IN – 3pm – (earlier by prior arrangement)

CHECK OUT – 11am – (later by prior arrangement)

LATE ARRIVALS - Please contact us for arrangement

LEFT LUGGAGE - Guests can of course leave their luggage upon prior arrangement. Please note that luggage is left at the owner’s risk. The hotel accepts no responsibility or liability for items lost, broken or stolen.
