The Rosebery Hotel is under NEW ownership and as such we are under taking a substantial refurbishment programme.

This of course, does not effect your quiet enjoyment. Guest rooms are being renovated on an on going basis. 3pm – 7pm – earlier/later by prior arrangement

10am Weekdays and 11am at Weekends – later by prior arrangement
Late Arrivals
We can offer 24 hour arrivals, please contact the hotel if you require this
Left Lugguage
Guests can of course leave their lugguage with arrangement with the hotel
Please note that luggage is left at the owner’s risk. The hotel is unable to accept any responsibility or liability for items lost, broken or stolen.
Bedrooms
Bedrooms are a mixture of singles, doubles, twins, triples, quads and en suite family rooms.
WiFI
Is FREE, SECURE and available throughout the whole building. Signal strength is very good in all rooms, as boosters are located throughout the hotel.
Breakfast
To set you right for the day, enjoy a full English breakfast consisting of your choice of fruit juice, cereal, porridge oats, bacon, eggs, sausage, breads, jams, teas (Earl Grey, Chamomile) and coffee. Vegetarian options are also available. If you are gluten or Lactose intolerant, we can of course provide Soya Milk, Gluten Free bread and gluten free cereals and Vegan sausages. Please notify the hotel via email, prior to your arrival, so this can be catered for, thank you.
Cats & Dogs
Pets will be made most welcome in our hotel by prior arrangement. The hotel is located overlooking 20 acres of Jesmond Dene Parkland, so ideal for dog walking. The hotel is soon to be creating a large garden for guest usage, which will also be ideal for dogs.

Hairdryer
The hotel can provide hairdryers.

An iron and an ironing board is available.
Parking
Ample free parking is available outside the hotel. There are two laybys for parking for up to 6 cars and also immediately opposite the hotel is un restrecited residential parking. There is also sufficient parking for up to 5/6 lorries/Commercial vans. There is no permit or paid for parking, unlike Osborne Road and the city centre. Parking is free. Push Bikes can also be stored securely in the hotel grounds.
Tea & Coffee
Tea and Coffee making facilities inclusive of biscuits are available in every room along with fresh milk upon request, the staff will more than happily supply this everyday.
Television
All rooms are equipped with a digital colour televisions, with have FREEVIEW and 30 channels. The TV’s also have DVD players, so you are welcome to bring your own DVD’s.
Long term guests
Guests can use the facilities of the washing machines, fridge’s and microwaves on a daily basis. We also have discounts with local pubs, take always and restaurants. Please speak to the hotel if you have any specific requirement and we will endeavour to meet them. The staff will also do your washing and ironing, for long term guests, at no cost.
Freeman Hospital Guests
Relatives of patients at the Freeman Hospital can benefit from long term discounted rates, please email the hotel for the best deal at info@roseberyhotel.co.uk
We are in the nearest hotel to the Freeman Hospital, only 4 stops on the number 38 bus, door to door. This bus runs every 4-6 minutes up to midnight and from 5am. In the car it is a 5 minute drive, or 10 minute walk through Jesmond Dene Park.
We will of course treat our Freeman Hospital guests with sensitivity, due to the nature of your stay.
Ground Floor Rooms
We offer a number of ground floor rooms for the less able, with en suite with showers and one with an en suite bath/shower.

If there is anything that could make your stay more enjoyable with us, please do not hesitate to ask. We will endeavour to ensure we do our utmost to make your stay a very pleasant one. We hope to give guests a restful, quiet and comfortable stay in an Edwardian hotel, which offers an intimacy that other larger chained hotels cannot offer.
Eco Policy of the Rosebery Hotel
The Rosebery Hotel is committed to ensuring minimum wastage and avoidance of excessive use of petro chemicals in the hotel laundry and cleaning products. We also recyle all of the tinned wastage produced by the hotel and we also use re cycled products (toilet rolls and cleaning supplies) and energy saving lightbulbs where we can.
Later in 2012 the Rosebery Hotel will be implementing a Sustainability programme with the installatiion of Solar Panels and a small Wind Turbine. Suppliers are also being sort whom ethically farm their egg/bason and sausage products. We are looking to small regional holdings in the North East to provide the hotel with highly nutrious regional produce, which support and employ locals.
