When travelling and staying away from home, the number one priority on most peoples’ lists are comfort and then style. Here at The Rosebery Hotel in Jesmond, we manage to combine both. Located on the outskirts of Newcastle we are close to the pulse of the busy city centre but far enough away to offer a peaceful and relaxing environment to stay in. To give our bed and breakfast in Newcastle it’s unique, boutique style, we’ve sourced all of our boudoir beds from French chateaus and hand picked some of the comfiest and most stylish beds, especially for our guests. The stunning, vintage bed frames are restored with care, reupholstered and studded by hand, using a selection of fabrics which are picked especially, with great design in mind and then transformed into beautiful pieces.
Combining subtle hues of colours like duck egg blue, greys and mink (among other colours) and combining them with a flash of opulent gold creates a colour palette to die for. The mix of heavy furnishing fabrics and brocade patterns are echoed throughout the hotel.
The beds make a perfect feature in every room and manage to draw attention whilst not taking away from any other feature in the room. Our décor is a perfect balance of minimalistic class and quirky features that catch the eye of our guests. Each bed in the hotel, like the chandeliers, is individual and unique. Could you sleep any better with value for money knowing that almost every element in your room has been carefully hand sourced?
The beds are all pure vintage and some age up to 120 years old. If you’re looking to stay in a hotel in Newcastle with quirks, style and comfort then The Rosebery Hotel in Jesmond is for you. To make sure you sleep soundly too, The Rosebery Hotel does not take hen/stag parties, as we want our guests to have a serene, relaxed stay at our boutique bed and breakfast and wake up refreshed and ready to face the day.
